The Maputo Special Reserve (Reserva Especial de Maputo), now called the Maputo National Park, has been transformed over the last ten years into an unmissable Maputo attraction. Now teeming with elephants in this unique beachside setting, the park also now boasts giraffes, hippopotamus, crocodiles, zebras, monkeys and an ever-growing array of deer species.
Our safari starts early morning at dawn crossing the new magnificent Maputo-Katembe bridge with the Maputo Elephant Reserve - as it used to be known - only 75kms away.

Our favourite day trip starts very early in the morning so we can get you to the famous Kruger Park in the early hours when many of the animals are most active.
The southern area of the park is known for its concentrated number of famous wildlife. In almost all of our safaris our clients see Elephants, Giraffes, Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Buffalo, Zebras, a wide range of deer species, birdlife and much more. We also have the chance of seeing lions and other wild cats - the more shy animals in the park.
Our tours almost have the most competitive rates starting from just $188 US dollars per person! (based on 4 or more persons travelling).
